Water Damage – Montrose Hardwood Flooring
Water damage to this Montrose home’s hardwood flooring left the flooring soaked and resulted in “cupping.” Cupping is caused by the moisture absorption in the tongue and groove joints leading them to expand and lift upwards. SERVPRO of Montrose / Telluride trained and industry certified technicians have in the field experience with this situation. We would remove the water from the hardwood flooring slowly by using a controlled moisture reduction process that can flatten out the planks. Our technicians would place industrial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers in strategic locations to facilitate the air circulation to regulate the drying time. Our customers are v3ery happy when their beautiful hardwood flooring can be saved rather than replaced. The cost savings is tremendous.
