SERVPRO Hosting a Class on Safeguarding Fine Art and Antique Collections

SERVPRO of Montrose/Telluride is pleased to announce a Class on safeguarding fine art and antique collections. The guest speaker will be Ms. April Hann Lanford, a renowned fine arts recovery expert and President and Founder of Allied Art Services, from Chicago. Forbes Magazine declared her a “Monuments Woman,” for her exceptional successes in fine art recovery from many parts of the world. She is a member of the Domestic Estate Management Association (DEMA) and has managed the restoration and preserving of antiques and many pieces of art after natural disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina, Ike, Harvey, and Sandy. She is passionate about saving artwork and will offer many tips and stories for an entertaining and informative session.
This exceptional presentation will take place at three different venues:
- TELLURIDE – September 19th, 2019, 10:30AM – 12:30PM, Wilkerson Public Library Room #5, 100 W. Pacific Ave.
- CRESTED BUTTE—September 20th, 2019, 10:30AM – 12:30PM, The Nordic Inn, 14 Treasury Rd.
- MONTROSE – September 21st, 2019, 6PM – 8PM, at Canyon Creek Bed & Breakfast, 820 E Main St.
SERVPRO of Montrose/Telluride invites any persons or organizations that have a vested interest in the preservation or restoration of such high value items to attend this no-cost presentation. Lunch provided for the two mid-day classes; and adult refreshments and light eats offered for the evening presentation in Montrose.
